The Geoffroy-Guichard stadium celebrates its 90th anniversary on September 13, 2021. Nine decades of good and loyal service with a festive program in store for the week.
First of all this Monday, the festivities will begin on the Etrat side with the inauguration of the Robert-Herbin Sports Center. On this occasion, a fresco in tribute to the former coach and player of ASSE will be unveiled. Then, official photos of the male and female ASSE staff are organized in Geoffroy-Guichard.
The Saint-Etienne club is also announcing the publication throughout the week of a new film on the construction of the stadium, archive photos and articles retracing the history of the Saint-Etienne enclosure.
Finally, on Saturday September 18, on the occasion of the reception of the Girondins de Bordeaux, a fireworks show is scheduled around 11 pm, within the Chaudron itself.
