AS Saint-Etienne : a signing session on Saturday at the Librairie de Paris | ASSE News

The book of Progress in tribute to Robert Herbin did not have the hoped-for “career”, one worthy of the player and coach, due to the pandemic. Nevertheless, this Saturday, October 2 at the Paris bookstore, the tribute to the Sphinx continues. With our colleagues Didier Bigard and Yves Verrière who have covered his career and forty years of ASSE (either 80 years between them, or the age of Roby).

Both have contributed greatly to this book, but they are not the only ones since it is a collective effort, the combined effort of which would certainly have pleased the legendary coach of the Greens. This book is the collection of testimonies from fifty eclectic personalities who have known the Sphinx and each has given their particular perception of the man Robert Herbin. We won’t tell you more, so as not to spoil the story, the best thing being to meet the authors this Saturday, October 2 between 3 and 6 p.m., the day before the derby against Lyon, at the Paris bookstore.
