This is a first in Etienne Green’s young career! At 21, the goalkeeper of AS Saint-Étienne will live his first meeting with the selection Hopes of England. Born in Colchester to an English father and a French mother, the number 40 of the Greens will be back home during this international break.
Less than 200 kilometers from his hometown of Milton Keynes, he will face Kosovo for the Young Lions’ debut in the 2023 European Championship qualifiers on Tuesday, September 7. To prepare for this meeting, the English U21 selection will first fly to Bucharest on Friday September 3 to face the Romanian U21 selection.
Good luck Etienne!
