Goalkeepers

1. Emily Burns (24 years old): A native of Canada, Portiere is one of six recruits for the summer. After going through the North American college championships, the former MacEwan University player played for Real Santander (Spain’s second-half) last season.

16. Maryne Gignoux (25 years old): The D1 Arkema? The former Dijonnaise knows her well! With DFCO, Fleury and Guingamp, the French U23 international has played 75 top matches. Arriving last June in Forez, the native Nîmes will miss the start of the season, however, due to a shoulder injury.

30. Andréa Ferrucci (18 years old): This is the youngest of the trio of Stéphane goalkeepers! Ligérienne, formed at the club, passed by the categories of the formation, she will be the third goalkeeper of the Vertes.

Defenders

2. Nesryne El Chad (18 years old): It too is a pure product from Saint-Etienne. Arriving at ASSE in 2014, the right-back was captain of the U19N last season. Also Moroccan international, she already has several selections with the young Lionesses of the Atlas.

4. Maud Antoine (22 years old): He’s one of the new faces of the squad! Trained in Lyon, passed through Marseille more recently, the center-back joined ASSE this summer. Despite her young age, she already has experience in D1 Arkema (11 appearances).

5. Léonie Multari (25 years old): Equally axial, Corsica is living its second season in the Forez. First trained in Saint-Etienne, she tasted D1 Arkema under the Foréziennes colors before leaving the club to join Marseille. Returning in the winter of 2019, she has appeared in almost all of the games played by ASSE since.

15. Ninon Blanchard (23 years old): Originally from Stéphane, trained at ASSE, she has been part of the Stéphane first team for several years. Trained in midfield, she has been repositioned as a central defender in the past. A profitable choice as evidenced by the captain’s armband which was regularly entrusted to him in D2.

17. Kristen Sakaki (22 years old): Rookie of the summer, the Canadian, who has faced Emily Burns in the past, arrived in France from Trinity Western University. The lateral, comfortable with both feet, is preparing for her first experience in Europe.

19. Anne Saverat (18 years old): Like Andréa Ferrucci and Nesryne El Chad, the central defender played with the U19N last season. Arrived at ASSE after an adventure in Lyon, she will discover the D1 Arkema this season.

20. Chloé Bornes (28 years old): He is one of the executives of the Green workforce. Passed by Rodez, Albi but also Bordeaux, it has more than a hundred matches in D1 Arkema and D2 Women. Versatile side, it can move in both corridors.

21. Elise Bonet (23 years old): Like Maryne Gignoux, she joined AS Saint-Étienne this summer from Dijon. With a wealth of experience at the highest level, accustomed to international caps, the one who was trained as a midfielder is now playing in the right lane of the defense.

Midfielders

6. Manon Uffren (24 years old): On loan to ASSE during the 2019-2020 season, she definitely joined Forez last summer. Having gone through the MHSC, she also experienced the high standards of INSEP and the youth selections of the France team.

7. Laura Condon (24 years old): The 2016 U19 European Champion is entering her fourth season in Le Forez. Like many of her teammates, she already knows D1 Arkema. Even before celebrating her 16 years, she had tasted it under the colors of Toulouse FC.

8. Kristina Pantelic (23 years old): Arrived in June 2019, the Serbian has been in France since 2015. A former player of Albi and Vendenheim, she knows D1 Arkema and the international level. It was with her national team that she seriously injured her knee in the fall of 2019. On the return, she is now waiting to regain the joys of competition.

10. Lalia Storti (28 years old): Regularly captain, the 28-year-old is one of the pillars of the Saint-Etienne locker room. Montpellier, Yzeure, Guingamp, Marseille and even Dijon, it has more than a hundred matches in the top flight. She is also Turkish international.

12. Adeline Coquard (20 years old): At ASSE since the age of 13, the Feurs native has worked her way up the ranks to join the D1 Arkema squad. Rewarded with a federal contract last June, she also has many international references with the U16, U17, U19 and U20 of the France team.

14. Gwladys Debbache (25 years old): She is also very familiar with the youth categories of ASSE. Semi-finalist of the U19 Women’s Challenge in 2014, the midfielder is playing her twelfth season in Green.

22. Enola Petit (19 years old): Like many of her teammates, she first wore the Stéphanois jersey in U19 before moving on to Jérôme Bonnet’s group. Having passed through the hope center of Lyon, the native Drômoise does not yet know the D1 Arkema.

23. Faustine Bataillard (17 years old): She is the youngest player in the Saint-Etienne squad. Resident of the hope center of Lyon, Stéphanoise since 2019, she is also a French international U17 and used to international meetings.

Attackers

3. Esther Okoronkwo (24 years old): Don’t be fooled by his number, the Nigerian international is a pure goal scorer. Arrived this summer from Lamar University, she found the net from her first appearance with ASSE in a friendly against MHSC.

9. Laury Jesus (29 years old): Born in Puy-de-Dôme, she already experienced D1 Arkema with ASSE in 2011-2012. Left to live adventures far from Forez, she returned to green in 2019. With 10 goals on the clock, she is the top scorer in Saint-Etienne during the last full season, in 2019-2020.

11. Audrey Chaumette (24 years old): ASSE has no secrets for her. At the club since 2011, the Roannaise quickly tasted the very high level. At the height of her 17 years, she was notably titular and scorer in the semi-final of the Coupe de France 2011 won against PSG.

18. Cindy Caputo (22 years old): Recruited last summer, the ex-Marseillaise, a regular opponent of ASSE, went into the Green camp. A success since she found the net twice in the space of six short days of D2 Women.

29. Kelly Gago (22 years old): 73 matches in Green, 41 goals scored, just that. Arrived in 2016 from DFCO, the French U20 international striker likes to score and it shows! Born in Créteil, she wore the colors of VGA St-Maur and DFCO.
