AS Saint-Etienne : Nice is interested in an ASSE striker | ASSE News

At the end of the contract at the end of the current sports exercise, AS Saint-Etienne right-winger Romain Hamouma could bounce back at OGC Nice this summer.

Arrived at Forez club in July 2012, the Saint-Etienne striker is reportedly going through his last weeks with the Greens. After nine years of loyal service and no less than 60 goals scored, it seems that the former SM Caen is not being extended. In the grip of serious financial difficulties and having started an operation to rejuvenate the workforce, the leaders of AS Saint-Etienne would not intend to offer new contracts to several executives and Romain Hamouma would be one of them.

Having scored six goals and an assist since the start of the Ligue 1 season, the 34-year-old shouldn’t have much trouble finding a new base. Announced in the sights of FC Lorient, Romain Hamouma would also be on the shelves of OGC Nice in anticipation of the next summer transfer window, according to information from insider Mohamed Toubacher-Ter. The Aiglons have reportedly entered into discussions with the player in recent days. The Nice side want to attract the Stéphanois winger in order to share the latter’s experience with the team.
