ASSE: Enzo Crivelli refused in Puel by the management!
Claude Puel wants reinforcements in ASSE, especially in attack, but he faces a big problem. First, he has to get rid of unwanted players and those with high salaries. To bring in an attacker, Lois Diony or even Wahbi Khazri must leave Forez. Offered at RC Lens, the former has been turned down by the promoted club and has no concrete contender yet. As for the second, his profile appeals to Trabzonspor and Istanbul Basaksehir. Negotiations are underway for his transfer to Turkey. While waiting for the possible departure of the players on whom the coach of theAS Saint-Etienne does not count, the latter has targeted offensive players. The former Bordeaux center-forward, Enzo Crivelli, figure in the plans of Claude Puel. Nonetheless, the club’s management refused him over the Basaksehir striker in Turkey, according to Goal Football Club. Quite simply because ASSE has decided to reduce its payroll. However, the income of the ex-Girondin is as important as that of Wahbi Khazri, Ryad Boudebouz, Yann M’Vila or even Stéphane Ruffier, all pushed out. Registered in plan B, in case of failure of the Enzo Crivelli case, Vincent Aboubakar is marketed by FC Porto. However, the tariff of Cameroonians, set at 5M € per Transfermarkt, and his estimated salary of just over € 200,000 gross per month is an obstacle for ASSE. Ultimately, Claude Puel is upset on these two offensive tracks.
Four top forwards in the Puel squad
Note that the Greens have recruited a leading striker this summer: Jean-Philippe Krasso (23 years). The defector from Epinal (National) comes to bring competition to the young Charles Abi (20 years), who enjoys the confidence of the coach of the Stéphanois. It is therefore obvious that if Lois Diony and Wahbi Khazri are still in ASSE’s workforce, the club cannot recruit a new center-forward.
