Loïc Perrin will forever be a player apart in the history of the Greens. Trained in Forez, the 34-year-old defender decided to retire from sports a few days after the sad Coupe de France final against Paris Saint-Germain (0-1) last Friday at the Stade de France. Excluded after 30 minutes of play against the champions of France, the Stéphanois captain does not erase a career devoted solely to ASSE. The supporters of the club obviously remember it and wanted to pay tribute to the 17 professional seasons spent among them.

Two banners thus decorate Geoffroy-Guichard this Saturday, the first filed by the Magic Fans 91 on which we can read “The adventure was so beautiful despite the galleys in Sainté, you have been able to remain faithful, for modern football what an exemplary nature!” , the second by the Green Angels where it is inscribed “An unfailing loyalty that modern football will never see again … Respect Captain”.
