Established only 8 times this season in Ligue 1, Adil Aouchiche will not be selected during this Mercato winter by the board of AS Saint-Etienne. That’s good, the 19-year-old attacking midfielder has, according to L’Equipe, expressed the wish to leave ASSE before the transfer market closes.
Indeed, Aouchiche agents met Loïc Perrin last week, the sports coordinator of ASSE, to inform him of the desire of the former PSG player to leave the Greens.
It is therefore in this context that two Ligue 1 teams have come to the information. According to our information, the Girondins de Bordeaux and the Stade Brestois tested the ground with ASSE for Adil Aouchiche.
However, the FCGB’s approach was rejected for two reasons. The first is that Bordeaux only offers a loan with a purchase option deemed far too low by ASSE. The second is that the Greens do not wish to strengthen a direct competitor for maintenance.
Regarding the Stade Brestois, for the time being it is only a question of taking information in order to possibly compensate for the departure of Romain Faivre who is coveted by Olympique Lyonnais.
