An attacker arrives in Troyes before Matuidi

Lebo Mothiba loaned to ESTAC by Strasbourg
Thursday, ESTAC Troyes formalized the arrival of Lebo Mothiba. The South African center-forward first signed a new contract with RC Strasbourg before being loaned without an option to Troyes. “The South African international striker is strengthening the Trojan offensive sector by bringing all his experience of the French championship”, specifies the club in its press release. A welcome signing for the promoted who has the worst attack in Ligue 1. Troyes has only scored 20 goals after 22 days. At the end of his freelance in Aube, the 25-year-old South African international will therefore return to Strasbourg, a club with which he is now linked until 2024. Injured since the start of the season, Mothiba has just signed his return to the competition. He has only made two appearances this season (14 minutes) with Racing.
The formalized signing of Mothiba now remains to be seen whether Blaise Matuidi will return to his training club this winter. The 2018 world champion defended the Trojan colors from 2004 to 2007 before joining theAS Saint-Etienne.
