This 2021-2022 season does not spare supporters. After a miraculous and salutary victory in Angers, we hoped to follow up with a victory in the Coupe de France against Bergerac, but nothing came of it and the Greens were eliminated at the end of the round of 16.
A “shame” for the supporters
The elimination is badly digested by many supporters of ASSE. Unable to score, nor defend well against a National 2 team (Bergerac deserves its qualification), the Greens bring a new disappointment to their supporters
A look back at this match with the tactical hesitations of Dupraz, the technical errors of the players, the confirmations of disappointing players.
The winter transfer window ends
These are the last of a transfer window which must provide essential reinforcements for the operation to maintain ASSE.
To date, we can note the arrival of Bakary Sako (currently injured) in attack, Joris Gnagnon (in the process of getting back into shape) in defense, Paul Bernardoni (convincing for the moment) as goalkeeper, Sada Thioub (lack of playing time, and not very convincing at the moment) in attack and Eliaqim Mangala whom we hope to see take a permanent place in central defense (in the process of getting back into shape too).
There have been several arrivals but they all require convincing. At the moment, the supporters are not. They are expecting an additional striker or two (Enzo Crivelli should be confirmed on Monday January 31) and a full-back, a position where there is a severe lack of talented, efficient players capable of making the difference.
100% Greens is Monday to Friday from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m.
