AS Saint-Etienne : ASSE: Saint-Etienne should know some returns for the derby | ASSE News

A few hours before facing Olympique Lyonnais for the derby, ASSE should record the return of several players. Bakary Sako, Arnaud Nordin or even Etienne Green could appear in the Saint-Etienne group.

For Friday’s derby, Olympique Lyonnais will be without several players selected for the African Cup of Nations, injured or ill (Toko Ekambi, Kadewere, Slimani, Denayer, Emerson, Queen Adelaide, Diomended). On the side of Saint-Etienne, some elements are also at the CAN (sow, Bouanga, Moukoudi, Neyou, Khazri) but others may return.

Trauco and Hamouma uncertain

Thereby, Bakary Sako, tested positive for Covid-19 before the meeting against Lens (1-2), should return to the group, just like Arnaud Nordin, forfeit during the defeat last week, and Stephen Green, absent since mid-December. In contrast, Miguel Trauco and Romain Hamouma are uncertain. Lent this summer, Ignacio Ramírez returned to Liverpool FC.
