AS Saint-Etienne : A nice surprise for AS Saint-Etienne despite the defeat against RC Lens! | ASSE News

ASSE, led by a very good Ryad Boudebouz, surely deserved better than this cruel defeat against Seko Fofana’s RC Lens, this Saturday on his lawn at the Stade Geoffroy-Guichard, during the 21st day of Ligue 1 (1-2 ).

Despite its many absentees between those who left for the CAN like Wahbi Khazri or even Denis Bouanga, as well as those who tested positive for Covid-19, AS Saint-Etienne will have done much better than competing against RC Lens, but the Greens of Pascal Dupraz lost once again and therefore remain dead last in the L1 standings.

But despite this new defeat with a very bitter taste for ASSE, we can still remember the very good performance of Abdoulaye Bakayoko (19 years old, 1m85), alongside Mickaël Nadé and the experienced Timothée Kolodziejczak in central hinge.

The young central defender of AS Saint-Etienne will have delivered a full match for his first tenure in Ligue 1 and will have scored many points in the eyes of his coach, Pascal Dupraz.

It would therefore not be impossible to see the young Abdoulaye Bakayoko in the starting lineup of ASSE over the next few days… Business to follow on the side of the Greens of St Etienne!
