Crowds Ligue 1
FC Nantes had their best attendance of the season, hosting OM on Wednesday.

Already the eighth and a ninth, at least, will follow, when the lineup between OL and OM is scheduled again. Yesterday Wednesday in Lyon, the eighth meeting behind closed doors took place this 2021-2022 season. And the fitters have to understand that they are penalizing their own club; the OL so radiant at home when it has a crowd, it bowed against Reims, in front of empty stands.

OL host Reims behind closed doors, PSG win the best attendance

In fact, OL are declining in the attendance rankings since, let us remember, we do not make a distinction between the different matches, each match is counted with or without an audience. Since the Groupama Stadium was therefore exceptionally empty, it was at the Parc des Princes that the most followed match took place at the stadium: 47,502 spectators to see the only 0-0 draw of the evening, between PSG and OGC Nice.

Record attendance this season in Nantes for the visit of OM

That’s exactly the average for the club in the capital, when it comes at home, and it is also the maximum mark in this always-packed arena. Yesterday, the Beaujoire was also, for the visit of the Olympique de Marseille. At 34,018 out of a maximum capacity of 35,000, this is by far the best attendance of the Canaries of FC Nantes, this season.

Metz-MHSC and SB29-ASSE close to the daily average

There were 185,251 cumulative spectators in the stadiums, for this 16th day, an average of around 18,500, slightly higher than the opposing matches. Metz to Montpellier in Saint-Symphorien and Brest to Saint-Etienne, in Francis-Le-Blé.
