AS Saint-Etienne : ASSE stands out for its young players | ASSE News

Already honored by the Football Observatory as the sixth best training club in the Big-5, AS Saint-Étienne is again cited by a study published by the LFP, concerning players born in the 21st century.

By entrusting 2,049 minutes of play to players born on or after January 1, 2001, Claude Puel made ASSE the third French club that most trusted its very young players this season, behind Stade de Reims (2,127 minutes ) and Montpellier HSC (2,282). Within the five major leagues, only FC Barcelona can boast of doing better than these French clubs with 2,441 minutes played by players born in the 21st century.

In France, with the Stade Rennais, the Forez club stands out as being the one that uses the most players born after January 1, 2001. Nine * young Stéphanois thus trod the lawns of Ligue 1 Uber Eats during the exercise in Classes.
