AS Saint-Etienne : ASSE celebrates Sainte-Barbe! | ASSE News

Downtown Saint-Étienne will be celebrating next Saturday, December 4! On the occasion of Sainte-Barbe, more than 70 cultural venues will come together to celebrate the patron saint of miners and recall the town’s mining past. Punctuated by concerts, artistic workshops, exhibitions, and gastronomic tastings, the day will culminate in the celebration of the 30th anniversary of the Mine Museum in the evening with its unmissable pyrotechnic show.

For several seasons, to be associated with this marker of Saint-Etienne identity, to carry the values of solidarity and self-sacrifice associated with the mining world and to mark the event, ASSE has chosen black as the color of its third jersey. Facing Rennes, Claude Puel’s players will therefore wear the tunic they had released during their pre-season friendlies. Involved in the festivities in the city center, the club will have its inflatable structures for children at Place Chavanelle in Saint-Étienne from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Beyond this new stage of the ASSE Kids’Tour, many prizes bearing the ASSE logo will be up for grabs throughout the day in the various entertainment venues!

In the evening, other prizes will be up for grabs in the various places celebrating the event.
