AS Saint-Etienne : L1: Etienne Green extends again with Saint-Etienne | ASSE News

AS Saint-Etienne goalkeeper Etienne Green has extended his contract with the Saint-Etienne club, ASSE announced on Tuesday.

Green, 21, who said on Monday he decided to play for England in the national team, had already signed a three-year extension on June 4 as his contract expired on June 30, 2021.

It is therefore now linked at least until 2025 with the Greens, who did not however specify the length of the extension.

Trained at AS Saint-Etienne where he arrived at the age of 9, Green, born in Colchester in Great Britain, started in Saint-Etienne goals on April 4 during a trip to Nîmes whose ASSE came out victorious (2-0) at the end of a match during which he notably stopped a penalty.

Since then, he has chained eleven matches in Ligue 1 as a holder, including three this season, and is currently settling as coach Claude Puel’s number one choice.

Saturday, Saint-Etienne will travel to Marseille on behalf of the 4th day of Ligue 1.
