This is how is presented, in a press release, the new mission of Jean-François Soucasse, appointed executive president of AS Saint-Etienne, six months after his arrival at the Greens, replacing Xavier Thuilot, who resigned.

The now ex-CEO of the Greens will work, perhaps even more than before, in close collaboration with the general manager, Claude Puel, after this promotion dropped by the chairman of the management board Roland Romeyer and by the chairman of the supervisory board , Bernard Caïazzo, eager to take a step back as he approaches his 76th birthday.

Oversee the sale of the club

In this same press release, the club reaffirms “the firm will of the shareholders to succeed as soon as possible in the search for credible investors endowed with a consequent financial solidity”.

The new executive president will be responsible for reaching a new level, with a view to the transfer of the club.
