Withdrawn from the L1 since December, Mediapro and its promise of 830 million euros over 4 years to obtain TV rights has paid the LFP a final deadline.
The two sides had entered into an agreement for the abandonment of L1 rights, without Mediapro being worried by a lawsuit by the LFP if it paid compensation of 100 million euros. The first part (64 M €) was paid at the end of December. After settling two new installments of 10 million euros each at the beginning of March, Mediapro paid all of what remained to be paid (15M €) according to information from the team.
