Announced for a few days in the sights of Saint-Étienne for next season, Zinédine Ferhat (28 years old, Nîmes Olympique) appeared to be a very interesting track for the Greens. However, the case could prove to be very difficult to materialize.
Indeed, according to Football Goal, the Algerian international (10 caps) would be too expensive for the finances of the Saint-Etienne club. Saint-Étienne could not afford to pay any transfer fees this summer (around 8 million euros for the Crocos attacking midfielder). In addition, recruiting a winger does not appear to be a priority for the managers.
