Indeed, Progress has indicated that the effective retirement of Roland Romeyer is desired by Claude Puel. The Saint-Etienne leader reacted to the information from the regional daily. “Claude Puel has never been scalded by my return to the front of the stage,” said the chairman of the board of ASSE. “With Claude, we are in phase with the sports project centered on training”, he then reassured, while indicating that “it is his manager’s responsibility to be ultimately involved in all strategic decisions” .
Romeyer bound to Sainté for life!
As a reminder, the two owners of ASSE: Roland Romeyer and Bernard Caïazzo have put their club on sale since mid-April. The first announced “new to July 1” on the sales file.
