While some hoped to see ASSE come to Lille in flip-flops, the Greens put on their boots. A huge satisfaction for their coach, Claude Puel.
“We are in line with what we have done in the last few games. We wanted to stay at a good level and be focused on our game. It was a good opportunity to face such an opponent. It was a big meeting and we lived up to it. I consider that we had a good first half, even if we lost in intensity in the last ten minutes. There was play, discipline, structure. We had some great situations, we did some interesting things.
