Looking for a club to revive, Tunisia international Wahbi Khazri has been offered to Turkish club Basaksehir according to local press.
With one of the highest salaries in the Saint-Etienne squad, the 30-year-old is more than ever leaving. Claude Puel, the first person in charge of recruitment and sports policy of Saint-Etienne, intends to reduce the fat as much as possible during the next transfer market by pushing out several executives including Wahbi Khazri. Often sidelined in the first part of the season, the latter has regained some playing time and has managed to perform well since the start of the year.
With only one year left with club Forez, the Tunisian will certainly not be extended. In the event of a sale during the coming weeks, Wahbi Khazri could bring back a nice check to the Greens in this difficult economic period. Perfectly aware of his situation, the experienced striker instructed his representatives to find him a new base. It was reportedly offered to Basaksehir in Turkey.
