ASSE is preparing to host Brest on behalf of Matchday 34 this Saturday April 23 at 1 p.m. There will then be only four matches before the end of the championship. A victory for Saint-Etienne would be synonymous with staying in Ligue 1 for the Greens.

A capital match
The Greens played beautifully against PSG last weekend on Matchday 33. Goals in the dying minutes, but ASSE ended up losing 3-2. Precious lost points.
We will have to keep the warmth against Brest, a direct competitor. In the standings, ASSE is in 13th place with 39 points and Brest in 15th place with 37 points.
Suffice to say that the Greens must remain on the same performance as against the Parisians to overcome the pressure of these last matches of the season.
A victory would allow Claude Puel’s players to remain in the top flight.
So you might as well take shelter against a winnable Brest team, because there will only be four games left, and not the least. ASSE will face in the final days of the championship Montpellier, the Olympique de Marseille, Lille and Dijon.
