Our partner France Bleu Saint-Etienne Loire indicates that the project has been validated since January 25 by the municipal council. The crisis has caused the Municipality to fall behind.
The city had thought of asking the Stéphanois sculptor Jean Cardot to make the statue. Unfortunately, the latter passed away last October. Other sculptors have since been surveyed but Saint-Etienne is giving himself the time, all the same with the wish to be able to inaugurate this beautiful tribute before the end of the year with the public!
