In the sights of several European clubs, Aimen Moueffek, Saint-Etienne right-back, was offered a contract extension.
Considered one of the big revelations of Forez club this season, the 19-year-old defender has managed to catch the eye of European scouts after just 12 appearances in League 1. Able to evolve in defense as well as in midfield, the Franco-Moroccan is part of this new generation of very versatile players. Closely followed by Borussia M’Gladbach, Salzburg or Anderlecht, Aimen Moueffek could decide to give another turn to his career in the medium term.
According to information from insider Mohamed Toubache-Ter, the Greens have offered the young right-back a three-year contract extension a few months before the start of the summer transfer window. Having studied at ASSE, Aimen Moueffek could therefore decide to continue for a few more seasons under the orders of Claude Puel, where he could enjoy some substantial playing time in the future, before considering a departure in the direction of one of his many contenders.
During the game against the reserve, he ate his opponents.
He defends, he attacks, he bumps into his corner, he even helps out at the right-back position.
He has 1 year of contract left …
