AS Saint-Etienne : Small price for a track in the middle of the field | ASSE News

TheASSE continues to be active in the transfer market and leaves no trail to chance in its path. The objective of strengthening itself in the transfer window requires good business taking into account the economic situation of theAS Saint-Etienne. If the Greens have undoubtedly found their attacker with Mostafa Mohamed, who asks Zamalek to let him join Forez, the Stéphanois leaders are struggling to complete the case of a defender. But they also open the door to recruiting from midfield.

It’s made for the scorer, it’s complicated in defense

After its convincing draw against Paris SG (1-1), the Greens continue to survey the transfer market. The arrival of Mostafa Mohamed seems imminent as a striker. A reinforcement that should do good while theASSE penalty in attack. The Egyptian striker asks his club to Zamalek to let him go and this short standoff should quickly find a positive outcome. The Saint-Etienne offer convinced the Cairo club, which sees the departure of its striker as an inevitable outcome. The Stéphanois, on the other hand, have more worries to complete the case of a defender. Trabzonspor asks too much for Edgar Ié and Adama soumaoro has just slipped through the fingers of the Greens and will leave LOSC on loan for Serie A and Bologna. Everything has to be redone for Sainté in the offensive sector, but the recruiters are not lacking in imagination. Defense and attack are not the only sectors where reinforcement is hoped for and a good blow is emerging in the midfield.

A low-cost midfielder tracked

Indeed, in its logic of recruiting smart at low cost, ASSE is studying all the possibilities. Thus, according to journalist Patrick Juillard, the Greens take a strong look at Perfect Bizoza. The player has Norwegian and Burundian nationalities and plays in Aalesunds. At 21, Parfait Bizoza is a versatile midfielder “with great technique and excellent vision”. Elite clubs in Norway have it on their radar for a while, but the player is reportedly dreaming of a move abroad. TheAS Saint-Etienne would therefore have aligned itself with Bizoza, the price of which does not exceed 500,000 euros. A boon for the Greens, who will nevertheless have to deal with the competition of FC Copenhagen, but also other French clubs, in Ligue 1 as in Ligue 2, whose names have not yet filtered.
