ASSE goalkeeper Stéphane Ruffier is one of the eleven types of players to be terminated in June 2021 by Football365. In conflict with the Stéphanois staff and the managers, Ruffier has been placarded since the start of the current sports exercise. Barring a big surprise, the experienced goalkeeper should not replay in the Greens jersey this season. As a reminder, the former French international has found himself in this situation since the arrival of Claude Puel at the head of the first team of theAS Saint-Etienne, and statements by the Ruffier about the new coach who did not like the latter.
A departure from the January transfer window?
Ruffier therefore found himself benched by his trainer who preferred him Jessy Moulin since then, the latter having become the number 1 goalkeeper this season within the Saint-Etienne group. Already on the start during the last summer transfer window, Ruffier had touches with several European clubs, ranging from Montpellier in France up to Galatasaray in Turkey, but ultimately did not find the right fit and is still among the men of Claude Puel.
