In a post-match press conference, Claude Puel returned to his side’s draw against Lille. The manager of the Greens, says he is satisfied with the combativeness engaged on the ground by his team this Sunday.
Claude Puel: “Our first half was consistent with a lot of quality. We showed control with a lot of situations. It makes sense to be in front at the break. Unfortunately in the second half we lost several balls which weaken us. We retreated and it is difficult to come out against this Lille team. They also have a very well-stocked bench with talented players who can make the difference when they come home.
