Christopher Rocchia pushed to ASSE by Yuto Nagatomo?
OM signed the Japanese Yuto Nagatomo to compete Jordan amavi at the left side post. This is proof thatAndré Villas-Boas wasn’t bluffing when he said he didn’t need Christopher Rocchia, who returned from loan at FC Sochaux last season. The 22-year-old left-back will therefore not be retained by Olympique de Marseille and will have to find another club this summer. This should not pose any problem since several clubs, including ASSE, would be attracted by his profile, if we are to believe Foot Mercato.

Strengthening the left side of the defense is a priority for the summer recruiting of the ASSE. Gabriel Silva is regularly injured and Miguel Trauco did not prove to his advantage. A situation which would have motivated AS Saint-Etienne to take an interest in the profile of Christopher Rocchia, brilliant with FC Sochaux last season. In addition, the young Olympian would be signed in the form of a loan. In these times of economic crisis, this option would favor recruiters from Saint-Etienne.
