Arrived in Forez in the summer of 2019 from FC Barcelona, Sergi Palencia (24) is already leaving AS Saint-Etienne, on a provisional basis. Not falling within the plans of Claude Puel, the right-back defender is loaned for the season to CD Leganés (Spanish D2). Said loan is not accompanied by a purchase option. The Spaniard, who is still under contract with the Greens until June 30, 2023, will therefore return to the Loire at the end of the exercise.
