Claude Puel will make history. But even without that, the technician from Saint-Etienne is about to write his name in the legend of French football.
And for good reason: Puel is preparing to enter the (very) closed circle of coaches who have 600 or more games in Ligue 1. 599 before this Thursday according to Opta, the former coach of Monaco, Lille, Lyon or Nice will integrate the Top 6 behind the champion Guy Roux (895 games directed), Kader Firoud (782 games), Albert Batteux (658 games), José Arribas (654 games) and Jean Fernandez (603 games).
