Ten days before the end of the summer transfer window, Claude Puel hopes to see a number 9 land.
Particularly active during the first phase of the summer transfer window, theAS Saint-Etienne has been much more discreet since the reopening of the transfer market. At least in the direction of arrivals, the Forez club having on the contrary recorded several departures (M’Vila, Diony…) in order to reduce the wage bill.
But the Greens intend to take advantage of the final stretch of the transfer window to attract three more reinforcements. In addition to a left-back and a defensive midfielder, Claude Puel is also campaigning for the arrival of a center forward.
Several avenues have been explored, but the financial limits of the finalists of the last Coupe de France greatly complicate the task of recruiters from Saint-Etienne.
