AS Saint-Etienne : No exemption for OM-ASSE | ASSE News

The curtain raiser for the new L1 season, next Friday between Marseille and Saint-Etienne, will be played at the Vélodrome with 5,000 spectators and not 20,000 as wanted by the OM leaders.

The exemption requested from the Bouches-du-Rhône prefecture was unsuccessful, and the government gauge decreed in this health crisis to remain the benchmark for the resumption match of Ligue 1.

The same prefectural decision was made in Nantes and Bordeaux, where we were to play in front of more than 5,000 supporters for the first performance of the season at home.
