AS Saint-Etienne : ASSE (AS Saint-Étienne football) | ASSE Cœur-Vert on the back of the players’ shirts | ASSE News

The ASSE Cœur-Vert association will have its name inscribed on the ASSE jersey for the next three seasons. It takes place above the player’s name, as soon as Lorient receives this Sunday afternoon (2e Ligue 1 day). It is the result of an unprecedented partnership agreement between the club and the structure created in 2011 and headed by Lionel Potillon. “This highlight illustrates the club’s desire to always give more impact to its social role.

ASSE perceived as the club most committed to social and citizenship

According to the 2019-2020 image barometer carried out by Ipsos for the Professional Football League and the Premier League, ASSE is also seen as the most committed club in the civic and social field ”, specifies the Loire club in a press release.

This new partnership has three objectives: to give more visibility to the various charitable associations supported in order to encourage mutual aid and donation; promote all those who are involved in the many social and civic projects: bring comfort to young people, sick or disabled, by making them live an exceptional day as a VIP, behind the scenes of a match.

Almost 2 million euros redistributed since 2011 and 1,050 actions carried out

Since its creation, ASSE Cœur-Vert has supported 685 associations and redistributed nearly 2 million euros. One thousand and fifty actions concerned citizenship, health, the environment and sport as a factor of well-being.
