AS Saint-Etienne : The jerseys of Ligue 1 clubs revamped in the colors of the national holiday | ASSE News

On the occasion of July 14, French National Day, a designer named Saintetixx on Twitter embarked on the makeover of a dozen Ligue 1 (and Ligue 2) jerseys in the colors of the tricolor flag.

The jerseys of Lyon, Marseille, Paris or Saint-Etienne are notably revisited by this “Twittos” used to touch up the tunics of football clubs.

“It’s always a good time for me to realize simple concepts in the colors of our beautiful flag,” wrote Saintetixx in his tweet.

“This is also the time when Stéphanois hate me for putting blue and red on our jersey”, also laughs the one who supports the Greens but fears that the blue and red touches of this new ASSE jersey recall the colors of the Lyon enemy.

“Remember that we are always stronger when we are united,” he concluded with a message of peace.
