ASSE will face Charleroi in their 3rd friendly match
ASSE started its summer preparation on June 17 and continues its sessions at the Robert-Herbin Sports Center in l’Etrat. Last Saturday, Claude Puel gauged his team against an amateur club, GFA Rumilly Vallières. TheAS Saint-Etienne won this first friendly match (4-1) thanks to a double from Charles Abi, a goal from rookie Jean-Philippe Krasso and another from Maxence Rivera. In its second test, the Loire club will face the OGC Nice on Friday July 10 (6 p.m.) at the Geoffroy-Guichard stadium. Five days later, ASSE will face the Royal Charleroi Sporting Club, at the Robert-Herbin sports center. This 3rd meeting, formalized on Tuesday July 7, is set for Wednesday July 15 (5.30 p.m.). Or 9 days before the final of the Coupe de France between Sainté and Parisians. It will be the very first confrontation in history between the Belgian club and its French counterpart.
