Friday at the Stade de France, Paris Saint-Germain won a rather complicated victory and on the smallest of scores (1-0, find the summary here) against AS Saint-Etienne in the 2019-2020 Coupe de France final. Ratings that may seem harsh for a victory, but we can concede that the Parisians were not particularly brilliant. Still short of form and cut out in the first period by the Stéphanois, the players of the capital seemed to ease off a bit on part of the match by managing the 1-0. Although we must not forget that there were great opportunities to widen the gap. Except that he lacked precision, where Saint Etienne goalkeeper Jessy Moulin made some nice saves.
There are still some players that we have seen too little, including Icardi. But the striker still depends a little on the ability of his team to at least start chances and to succeed in the last past. Yesterday it was not easy to exist. The Argentinian still had some good appearances on the occasions. Gueye really wasn’t convinced in the middle. Fortunately, Thiago Silva and Navas were in good shape. Everyone probably deserves to have at least 7.
