The former midfielder, trained in Saint-Etienne in the early 1990s, suffered a heart attack on the night of Thursday to Friday. He was 46 years old.

The former midfielder played in Nice, Nîmes and Cannes

Nicknamed “Bibiche”, Aulanier had played for three seasons with the first team of the Greens, between 1994 and 1997, before taking over the management of Nice, where he played most of his career (156 matches between 1997 and 2002) .

In his career, the native of Saint-Chamond (Loire) also wore the colors of Nîmes, Cannes, Béziers or Sète. He had also tried his luck abroad, in Portugal, in Estoril, then in Switzerland, near Sion.

Dominique Aulanier retired from sports in 2010.
