AS Saint-Etienne : ASSE – PSG (0-1): the scores of the Greens | ASSE News

ASSE failed to create a feat in the Coupe de France final against economics-winning PSG. Here are our notes for Saint-Etienne players.

MILL (7)

He was under pressure in this final given the magnitude of the “Ruffier affair”, but he did not lose heart. He couldn’t do anything about the Parisian goal. Then, he illustrated himself by superbly deflecting a strike from Di Maria (25 ‘). A stop at the foot in front of Icardi (45th), and he interposed again in front of Paredes (59th). Reassuring.

DEBUCHY (5.5), then KRASSO

In his right lane, Debuchy was rarely caught out and he was illustrated by a good cross for Bouanga (60 ‘). Replaced by KRASSO at the end of the match, when Puel played his game.

FOFANA (7)

The young defender spoke about his speed, his power and his reading of the game. He removed a goal ball from Icardi (84th) and brought the excess at the end. Close to securing a penalty following a collision with Thiago Silva (90 ‘).

PERRIN (2)

His career therefore ended with his expulsion. Late, he took Mbappé’s ankle and the VAR was ruthless. But how can he get it after all he brought to the club for so many years?

KOLO (4)

The Mbappé rocket dropped him on the opening goal. A hand that resulted in a dangerous free kick (45th), unnecessary faults … We can’t wait for ASSE to recruit a left-back!

M’VILA (5)

A fairly neutral match. Clean in its transmissions.

CAMARA (4), then NEYOU (7)

In the first half, Camara was most notable for a useless sole on Paredes (37 ‘), shortly after Perrin’s expulsion. NEYOU, who replaced him, had a much more interesting contribution. He covered a lot of ground everywhere, casting a wide net and hitting the ball with technique, composure and authority. An impressive introduction!

MACON (not rated), then MOUKOUDI (5)

A surprise start, Mason missed his final, with an ugly entry tackle to Neymar’s ankle and a horrendous loss of ball on the action that resulted in Perrin being sent off. Subsequently replaced by MOUKOUDI, who kept pretty good despite one or two hesitations.

BOUDEBOUZ (4), then NORDIN

As a playmaker, Boudebouz had little impact on ASSE’s play. Replaced by NORDIN, which caused one or two corners.

BOUANGA (6)

The Gabonese was the most dangerous striker from Saint-Etienne, as usual. Unhappy, he failed on the post of Navas (6th) after a nice tumble, before coming up against the Parisian goalkeeper (17th) and still being threatening with his head (21st). Then to disappear, during the last hour of play.

HAMOUMA (4), then KHAZRI (5.5)

Aligned at the top, Hamouma was illustrated only by a good cross for the header of Bouanga (21st) before being replaced at half-time by KHAZRI, who was sharper. The Tunisian won corners and free kicks. In vain.

ASSE

The Greens may regret Bouanga’s post and Perrin’s expulsion. They have not been unworthy, holding the high on Parisians not very dashing. But Neymar’s goal, on a flash from Mbappé, was enough for PSG.
