They are still a minority, but Ligue 1 clubs are becoming more and more open to the Tik Tok network.
Almost a year and a half after OM, there are five now Ligue 1 clubs, counting a profile on the rising social network: Tik Tok. Five, plus the LFP which holds its page for Ligue 1, it is still a little marginal but considered with interest, since the clubs come there more and more.
The pioneer OM, the most followed PSG
Olympique de Marseille is “forever the first” on the network born in China, but in number of followers, it must bow down against the PSG ; which exceeds 900,000 followers. It’s more alone than all the other club accounts added up. But less by cons than “Ligue 1” followed by more than a million followers. As such, this is a commendable performance for the authors of the page, as the fan support is potentially less strong than for the teams.
Latest arrival, FC Nantes has crunched ASSE
Behind Paris, Marseille also has hundreds of thousands of followers. The others are more modest, at AS Monaco, FC Nantes and ASSE. The Canaries are the latest arrivals on the Tik Tok, their first publication dates back to December. Two months after Saint-Etienne, Nantes residents have so far shown more efficiency in recruiting subscribers, since they are 16.9 k subscribers to the Nantes page, just for us to write these lines, against just over 8,000, for Saint-Etienne.
