Very little used this season at FC Porto, Vincent Aboubakar could revive in Ligue 1 where Saint Etienne and Stade Rennais would make the scorer’s sweet eyes.
In financial difficulties, FC Porto would be willing to let go of some of its executives, among them, Vincent Aboubakar. At the end of the contract in June 2021, the former Lorient had a rather complicated season in Portugal and would not be maintained in the event of convincing offers.
According to the Portuguese daily “A Bola”, the former FC Lorient player is already looking for a new club, who, at 28, still has several good years ahead of him. Obviously, he is looking for a club that can offer him a significant amount of playing time.
Thus the Besiktas where he has already played and Galatasaray would think of the Cameroonian striker. But Stade Rennais and ASSE would make him look sweet. He could replace M’Baye Niang in Rennes, but we can hardly imagine Saint-Etienne recruiting him since the club faces major financial difficulties. Aboubakar is estimated at 5.5 million euros per “Transfermarkt.”
