According to CIES, the French Ligue 1 championship is actually the one that trusts young players the most among its close European neighbors, namely the main continental championships. The Football Observatory indicates that the elite of French football has much more confidence in players under the age of 22 (up to 15%) in the 2019/2020 season than the English Premier League (8.5%), the German Bundesliga (9.8%), Spanish Liga (7%) or Italian Serie A, 7.7%. A ranking however dominated by the Slovak Super Liga (29%).

In its weekly letter, CIES also indicates that in France, it is the LOSC which is customary. The northern formation is indeed the tricolor club to trust young people the most (32.1%), thus confirming its policy. The Great Danes are just ahead of OGC Nice (30.8%) and AS Saint-Etienne, which completes the podium (24.5%). Conversely, Monaco (8.3%), Angers (5.3%) and especially Amiens (0.4%) have a different policy concerning their young people.
