ASSE learned with great sadness of the tragic disappearance of Fabrice Lepaul, player at the club during the 1998-1999 season. A road accident unfortunately cost him his life during the night of Thursday to Friday. He was 43 years old.
A native of Épinal, trained in SAS, this offensive midfielder had started in the elite in 1993 under the colors of AJ Auxerre. After passing through Cannes at the beginning of the century, he retired from professionalism before concluding his career in Alsace, where he resided. Great hope for French football, he had been international in all categories with the French team.
