The ASSE promoted a young player who shone with the U19 Nationals last season. This is Captain Saïdou Sow of the team coached by Jean-Luc Dogon. He signed a two-year pro-trainee contract.
Mercato ASSE: a professional intern contract for Saïdou Sow
The ASSE coach had indicated that he intended to rely on young players from the club’s training center to gradually build his team. And he wasted no time in taking action. Thus, he offered a first professional intern contract to the captain of the U19 Nationals, Saidou Sow. It was the debut club of the 17-year-old central defender who officially announced the signing of the latter’s new contract with theAS Saint-Etienne.
“A little wink to our former player Saidou Sow (from U11 to U15) who signed his first 2-year professional trainee contract in favor of ASSE. We are all very proud of you and we will continue to follow your progress, ”wrote SFC Neuilly-sur-Marne, on his official Twitter account. Arrived at the Académie des Verts in 2016, Saidou Sow will thus continue his progression at AS Saint-Étienne, towards the team of Claude Puel.
Wesley Fofana (19), Charles Abi (20), Zaydou Youssouf (20), Yvann Maçon (21), Mahdi Camara (21) all benefited from the confidence of the Stéphanois coach during the last year.
