11:30 am | Saint-Chamond: 13,400 masks for medical or nursing offices

Saint-Étienne Métropole bought masks for its municipalities with a medical or nursing office. Thus in Saint-Chamond, 90 masks per professional were distributed, or three masks per day for a month. The city has 139 practices, some with several professionals. “We therefore received 13,400 masks,” says Mayor Hervé Reynaud, who invites professionals “to contact us if necessary or if their office has escaped the vigilance of the services that made the census.” Once the distribution has been made, a few boxes are set aside: “If there are any left, we will give them to the hospital, nursing homes or other professionals. “

10.55am | The gendarmes thank their generous donors

Solidarity gestures have multiplied since the start of the epidemic. Towards the nursing staff of course, but also towards the police. This Monday, the gendarmes of the Loire wanted to highlight, on social networks, a young boy who gave them protective visors made with a 3D printer in Sorbiers. They also greeted a business manager who gave them bleach tablets to disinfect their premises in Saint-Just-Saint-Rambert, and a hypermarket manager who offered chocolate rabbits to the Montbrison brigade:

9.50am | Saint-Etienne: Espace Boris-Vian launches a kitty of solidarity

Philippe Chastel, director of Espace Boris-Vian, launched a “solidarity kitty” to help families in difficulty in the Saint-Roch / Chavanelle district. Many donations have already been received and allow the poorest to better live this situation. “As soon as the school closed, we were alerted by Sandrine Braz, director of the Chavanelle elementary school, that families do not have a computer to allow their children to do homework but, above all , that they could not meet the primary need for food, “he explains.

“We have also opened an account with the premiere”

“The Restos du Coeur campaign was over, Secours populaire donates one food parcel per month. So, we launched a “kitty solidarity” which was well received. We receive transfers directly to the account or envelopes with checks, or money in the Espace mailbox. This allows us to regularly feed five families, seven adults and fourteen children. In order not to do anything, we regularly call people who tell us about their needs. We do the shopping and they pick it up at the Espace where we take them home to the landing, while respecting the instructions related to the coronavirus. We have also opened an account with the Primeur. Families know that they have 15/20 euros per week at their disposal for fruit and vegetables. “

9:20 am | Andrézieux: the Bouthéon school welcomes 6 to 7 children of caregivers every day

These are all the volunteer teachers from the schools of Andrézieux-Bouthéon, Bonson and Saint-Cyprien who provide educational follow-up for the children of caregivers and, since the end of March, members of the gendarmerie and police services. A schedule has been established to accommodate six to seven children per day, including Wednesdays, from 7:30 am to 6:30 pm. The town hall provides extracurricular services.

All the levels operate on the model of a single class from the middle section of kindergarten to CM2. Each student’s work is provided by the teacher in their class. The Victor-Hugo school in Bouthéon therefore brings together all students from the sector whose parents work in the medical or security fields.

8.45 am | Saint-Maurice-en-Gourgois: masks for the over 70s

The town hall bought 300 washable and reusable masks by group order from the association of mayors of the Loire. This will make it possible to provide each inhabitant over the age of 70 with an alternative mask, made locally by Les Tissus de Charlieu, so that everyone can go out with more serenity and security.

The deputy mayors have prepared this distribution, which will be carried out by elected officials in the coming days, directly in the mailboxes. An explanatory letter is attached for the use of the mask and, of course, everyone is reminded to respect the rules of confinement.

8 hours | The GAZ of the Onzion valley “lost 75% of its activity on the cheese dairy”

At GAEC de la Vallée de l’Ozion, in Saint-Chamond, Lionel, Anthony, Marie-Jo Mas and Michel Richard, the four partners, are still at work. “You have to look after the livestock. We have dairy cows and goats. At the moment we have no problem with milk collection. Guillauteau à Pélussin and Soodial handle collection normally, ”explains Lionel Mas. And he admits: “the Guilleteau dairy is a plus for us. It was bought by the Eurial group, which owns the Soignon cheese brand, which is very present in large retailers. This allows our milk to flow, while the PDO cheeses, like the ribs, present in the combs at the cut are in distress. “

Overdue PDO cheeses

Lionel continues: “We are making sure to reduce our production a little. It’s not simple. The goats are in full lactation. For kids, 25% is kept for the renewal of the herd. The others have already left, before confinement on specific farms for breeding. And for them it should not be easy today. Goat like lamb is a festive meat and outlets are made. “

On the other hand, the GAEC of the Onzion valley has its own cheese dairy. “The impact on our operations currently concerns mainly our dairy processing activity and the marketing of our products for direct sale. Between the loss of the Saturday market on the Cours Fauriel and the stopping of deliveries for school meals, this represented a drop of 75% in our turnover. “

The GAEC of the Onzion Valley has set up a Facebook page so that its customers can find their products, installed today in certain shops.

7:30 am | The virtual final at the Stade de France almost complete

A few days ago, ASSE launched a beautiful appeal for solidarity on its website. Through the ASSE Cœur-Vert association, the Greens wanted to mobilize their supporters to virtually fill the Stade de France for the ASSE – Covid-19 “final”. 74,205 virtual seats were sold, representing 93% of the stadium’s capacity. Through Twitter, Denis Bouanga thanks those who contributed to the prize pool.

At 1 euro instead, the objective was to raise funds for the benefit of researchers engaged in the fight against the virus at the CHU de Saint-Étienne.
