ASSE co-president Bernard Caïazzo believes that the possibility of starting the next season in early 2021 would not be such a far-fetched idea.
Between the clubs who want to give themselves the time necessary to finish the season and those who want to start the next one as soon as possible, two trends are currently in conflict in L1. According to L’Equipe, the first team is looking at all costs to complete the 2019-2020 season, which ended on March 13 just before the start of the 29th day.
