The tops
Four days after his poor performance against Lyon, Timothée Kolodziejczak recovered well. The No. 3 of the Greens, aligned with the left side position, notably delivered a good first period. Solid and very enterprising. His climbs hurt Rennes’ defense. It was he who allowed ASSE to equalize before the break, with a clever whim.
Rarely worried on the defensive level, Saint-Etienne was able to rely on the big performance of Wesley Fofana. The young defender constantly took the best of Rennes’ attackers. Very clean in its reminders and reassuring throughout the meeting.
