It’s not a big surprise but it’s official: there will be no Stéphanois at Groupama Stadium in Lyon for the derby on March 1st. The Rhône prefecture has just published a decree prohibiting access to the stadium perimeter for supporters of the Greens.
It will be the 120th derby between Olympique Lyonnais and AS Saint-Étienne, as part of the 27th day of Ligue 1. The last meeting between the two teams dates back to October for a championship match won by the Greens.
