Totally on the street collectively, the men of Claude Puel are also individually. Rare are the players of the AS Saint-Etienne who manage to get their heads out of the water this season. Suffice to say that the next Mercato summer risk of being very busy on the departure side for green of St Etienne !
Indeed, players like Stéphane Ruffier, Timothy Kolodziejczak, Léo Lacroix (at the end of the contract), Sergi Palencia, Jean-Eudes Aholou, Assane Dioussé, Yohan Cabaye (end of contract), Wahbi Khazri, Ryad Boudebouz or Lois Diony, are likely to leave the ASSE at the end of the season. Same story for Yann M’Vila… and eventually Loïc Perrin whose contract will expire next June. The 35-year-old central defender will seriously consider whether he intends to continue his career as a player or stop it then integrate the Stéphanois staff where a place would already be promised.
It is at least the wish of Claude Puel who has more than once announced that he wants to work with a tight group (especially since there will be no Europa League), and to recruit players that perfectly match his philosophy of play.
