AS Saint-Etienne : Before ASSE – FCGB (J28 of L1), the Greens qualify in the final of the CdF | ASSE News

Less than three days before an important Saint-Etienne – Bordeaux (D28 of L1), the Greens were playing their semi-final of the Coupe de France on Thursday evening against the title-holder Stade Rennais. A few moments ago, and just before extra time, Claude Puel’s Greens qualified for the final 2 to 1, therefore joining Paris Saint-Germain in the final.

It is reported that the former hope of the Girondins training center, the attacker Loïs Diony, was a decisive passer (his first of the season + 2 goals, in 16 games played) on the goal of 1-1. Also, the middle Yohan Cabaye was injured in the 37th minute of play, adding to the long list of uncertain and absent Stéphanois for ASSE – FCGB.

But this evening, the green people, undoubtedly not thinking of the fight for the maintenance in Ligue 1 and the Navy and White, has especially a qualif ‘in the final to celebrate!

ASSSE’s starting eleven : Moulin – Debuchy, Saliba, Fofana, Kolodziejczak – M’Vila, Camara, Cabaye – Bouanga, Honorat, Diony. Dioussé, Abi and Boudebouz came into play. The last city also scored the goal of the qualifier, in the 93rd minute of play.
